Bespoke psychological training

I am a registered tutor/trainer with the Association for Psychological Therapy (APT), including training in the delivery of Reinforce Appropriate Implode Disruptive (RAID) approach to the management of challenging behaviour (RAID training can only be booked via APT).

However, I am also experienced in designing and delivering bespoke training packages, particularly in the areas of understanding mental health, staff-patient boundaries, using therapeutic relationships with complex presentations, and reflective practice.

Supervision of mental health professionals

I have provided clinical supervision for many mental health professionals over the years and have received supervision training that is accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS).  I am happy to discuss your supervision needs.

Consultation

Consultation on a staff group/organisation’s training needs can be provided.  This is becoming a greater need in today’s climate of increased reviews of healthcare services.  I can also provide consultation on organisational/team dynamics to help to understand a ‘internal’ problem better, and to support the mental health needs of staff within an organisation (e.g. absence care).
